H. Vincent Pennington, III
Vince Pennington’s undergraduate work was completed at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, graduating in 1992. He then attended and graduated from Harvard Law School in June of 1996. After receiving his law degree, Vince served as Law Clerk for Judge Pierce Lively of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit from 1996 through 1997. In October of 1997, he joined the law firm of Sheehan, Barnett, Hays, Dean and Pennington, P.S.C., in private law practice.
Vince enjoys bringing the services of his law firm to Danville. He was born and raised in Danville and has chosen Danville as the home where he and his Wife live and raise their three children. His Father, Judge Henry V. Pennington lived and practiced law in Danville for over 50 years. Vince is continuing the family legal tradition of serving the best interests of the people of this community.
Since 2007, Vince has worked closely with Hon. William “Bill” Barnett and learned from his years of experience and knowledge. Currently, his focus of practice is Estate Planning and Administration, Real Estate Law, General Business and Corporate Law. He regularly attends the continuing education seminars, including the yearly Estate Planning Institute to ensure that he is giving the most current and relevant advice to the people he serves.
Vince is very active in his community where he has served on the Board of Directors for Wilderness Trace Community Foundation (1997-2006), Wilderness Trace Child Development Center (1997-2006), Heart of Kentucky United Way (1998-2004; 2006-2010) and is currently on the board of the Farmers National Bank. He attends and is an Elder of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Danville.
