Stephen was born and raised in Danville, Kentucky. In 2004, he graduated from Centre College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and English. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2008. While in law school, Stephen was a member of the Brandeis Law Review and tax moot court team.
Stephen joined the firm as an Associate in October 2008 and became a shareholder and partner in June 2011. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. Stephen currently focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, estate planning, estate administration, bankruptcy and other general civil matters.
On a personal note, Stephen attends Southland Christian Church, where he plays keyboard and sings as a member of the worship team. Stephen also enjoys exercising, watching sports and spending time with his family.
